HOW TO USE:

✧ The solid lines ( _____ ) are meant to be filled with the tasks, actions, and other core efforts you have already accomplished in a given day, ideally right after you finish the action. Feel free to include the time and multiple items on one line if they were all done within a certain phase of your day.

Examples:

  • 10:30am - Restored vehicle headlights

  • 1pm - Made snacks/Started my winter project

  • 3pm - Internet/social browsing…

  • 3:35pm - Got halfway through monthly budgeting

✧ The dotted lines ( …… ) are there for notes accompanying your core efforts on the solid line above - such as personal/external factors, thoughts, and emotions surrounding the action. If you don’t have notes to record, dotted lines can be used as additional action lines.

Examples:

  • This took longer than expected since we were learning how to do it

  • Finding motivation was rough…I procrastinated a lot

  • Mental break…couldn’t focus

  • Had to stop because Mom called needing assistance

✧The “Thoughts & Insights” field is a place to take notes on trends/patterns, revelations, ideas, and other information pertaining to your recorded efforts.

Examples:

  • If I don’t schedule mental breaks, my brain will force them.

  • Projects seem to go best when I schedule only one or two a day.

  • If possible, pop-up tasks need to be scheduled for later to cut back on distractions.

  • Everything takes so much longer when I’m learning!

Use your records and findings to help you shape your future planning! Keep your pages in a folder or binder somewhere you can easily reference them when needed.
